South Africa is the country where I was born, and I was also partly raised there. I lost my soul to the beautiful and magical Cape Town. You will hear and see my love for South Africa and Cape Town everywhere from my favorite tea (Rooibos tea, which is typical South African tea) to my favorite flower, the Protea (the national flower). I love helping people, bringing people together, I’m a warm and friendly person and a positive dreamer. I am down to earth and I have a no-nonsense policy. I love beautiful places, creative concepts, a good cocktail, personal stories, inspiring people, sunsets in Cape Town, out of the box thinking and of course: weddings.

I lived the first years of my life in South Africa, I moved to the Netherlands with my family when I was eight years old. I always left a part of me in South Africa and I lost my heart to Cape Town. Nowadays, I live 40/60 in Cape Town – the Netherlands. I am a real people person, I enjoy being amongst people, bringing them together and helping them. Not to mention that I’d love to show you everything about South Africa and the magical city of Cape Town. I prefer to do that by planning weddings, special events, helping you plan your honeymoon, organizing editorials and campaign shoots.
In 2017, I married Henk, the love of my life. While planning our wedding, I ran into many problems. Two of them: it was difficult to find the right vendors who understood us and the style for the wedding. The second was that I got a lot of comments on how we planned our wedding, a lot of people didn't understand that by making certain choices, it might not be the traditional wedding that they had hoped for. But, by our choices, it would be a very personal wedding that reflected us. Because of these experiences, I was determined to help other couples plan their wedding.

I always feel it very important to make sure that you, as a person, feel good with yourself, just the way you are. I know from my own experiences how difficult it can be, when you feel like you are not good enough. That’s why I want to say to you: you are beautiful, perfect, and so unique, because you are you! So don’t let anyone hold you back and let’s make your dream wedding come true!

THE PROCESS
Before we start, I will always discuss the process with you globally: what needs to be done and by when? During the process, we will stay in touch, and I will keep you always updated. With each meeting we will discuss the next steps and I will give you tips and advice. In the week before the wedding, we'll discuss everything again and I'll keep you posted on the latest changes and updates.

The big day
Yesss, finally! The big day you have dreamed of for so long has arrived. During the wedding day, I’ll manage and arrange everything, from the beginning the end. I’ll be at your direct assistance and I’ll make sure everything is as it’s supposed to be. But most importantly: let’s enjoy this beautiful day!
